GOAL

The SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAM at the Ballet Academy of Texas is designed to give the serious dance student a chance to build strength and versatility. The 5-6 hours of daily training will focus primarily on Ballet and Pointe, but will also provide the dancers with the opportunity to study alternative forms of dance such a Character, Jazz, and Modern. In addition to classes with the regular staff of the Academy, students will have the opportunity to study with various nationally-recognized guest instructors from throughout the U.S.
Ballet Academy of Texas is located in an 11,000 sq. ft. facility in the heart of Coppell near the corner of Sandy Lake Road and Denton Tap. There are 4 large studios with sprung wood subflooring and non-slip marley surface. Two large waiting areas and dressing rooms complete the facility. The Academy received the honor of the “Outstanding School” award in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2010 at the Youth America Grand Prix Semi-Final for the Southwest area.
